Kevin Whitmarsh

Hi I’m Kevin, your LDS Driving Instructor in the Wirral.

For years, I lived and breathed the transport industry. LGVs, chauffeur, logistics, planning & training.

I racked up tens of thousands of miles, gathering the sort of invaluable experience you can’t learn from a book or TikTok

Then, in 2010, something changed. The passion to teach the next generation of drivers really began. I wanted to take everything I’d learned on the road and pass it on — using the latest training techniques, coaching, NLP backed by accredited coaching courses.

Along the way, I crossed paths with Terry Lefteri, who became a mentor, coach, comic, and thankfully, someone who understood that good training should be effective, engaging and occasionally involve a laugh. Fast forward good few years an amazing opportunity came along to join LDS Driving School.

And that’s where the story continues. What immediately stood out for me was the LDS team ethos and shared values. A group of driving instructors who genuinely care about developing drivers, maintaining high standards, keeping up to date with the latest teaching method, producing the next generation of safe, confident & independent drivers like you will be.

We regularly attend in-house training so we can deliver the best lessons to you.

I’ll help you get that license you need and I’ll make sure you are fully prepared to get you, and your friends, home safely each and every time.
