“I don’t actually teach learner drivers anymore. My focus is now on the training and development of driving instructors. Just to big myself up a bit, I’m one of the extremely few instructor trainers in the country to score a perfect 51/51 on my latest ‘instructor trainer test’ (officially it’s called ORDIT) so all instructors that train with me are in good hands.
It’s my job to make sure the instructor who teaches you is right up to date with the latest training techniques & theories….oh, and of course has the same ideas about customer service as I do.

If they are not up to scratch we don’t invite them to join our wonderful team. I’m also an accredited coach specialising in behavioural change, so if you’re lacking a bit of driving confidence I’m available to help you out.
Back in the day I used to juggle being an instructor with being a football, hockey & tennis coach. So as you can see I know a little bit about teaching people to teach. When I get time (yeah right) away from running LDS I like to play tennis & golf. I’m also a bit of a film buff and love spending quality time with my partner and twin teenage boys. I used to have hair – and it wasn’t grey – before they were born! Oh and I’m also a coffee snob… As Gandalf once said to the instant coffee jar ‘you shall not pass….these lips’ True story.
